Chronic Inflammation- Inflamma (Latin);
fire. Chronic- long period of time and/or reoccurring.

Eating junk foods (processed and high GI/GL foods) = High Blood Sugar Levels = High Insulin Levels = Sedentary Lifestyle = Leaky Gut = CHRONIC INFLAMMATION = Over weight = Obesity = Type II Diabetes = Heart Attacks = Autoimmune Disease = CANCER = Arthritis = Dimentia = other chronic diseases…

**It is literally a domino effect, bro.

       If you are experiencing signs or symptoms such as chronic fatigue, red-itchy skin, over weight (particularly excess belly fat), allergies/infections, digestive issues (constipation/diarrhea), anxiety, depression, erectile dysfunction, and/or brain fog. Oooh! Or have you been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease such as Chron’s or celiac disease? Chances are, you have chronic inflammation, yep man on fire. And chronic inflammation is the ruling Kingdom for most, if not all, chronic diseases. What a royal’ mess this is, pun intended…

      Inflammation is a good thing, acute inflammation is the lifesaving inflammation, naturally and brilliantly, a result in the body when an infliction happens such as, an injury or a common cold. Hence the redness, swelling and fever.

       The bad inflammation, chronic inflammation is the LIFE-THREATENING and DEADLY, inflammation. This is the kind of inflammation we don’t want any part of, if that wasn’t obvious already.

      Since, 7 out of 10 Americans die every year from chronic diseases, it is a pretty darn good idea to figure out the root problem. The culprit? ANSER: Chronic Inflammation. But wait, actually the real culprit is our trusty FDA/NSCA rolling with false information such as the old food pyramid, misleading our population right into a deadly mess!  (See link below for more about “The Mess” with Greg Glass) No, wait, it’s not entirely their fault either, we do have the free will to choose what we eat and whether or not we should exercise, but actually we have a better knowledge if we had a better guidance system, oh but we kinda sorta… don’t. Not only that, it is actually a great way to disguise toxins and poisons. Sugar is a drug, that is why we have many people with food addictions. And not the good kind! I mean, has anyone ever heard of someone being addicted to roasted broccoli? NOPE.

       Think about it, if the cause of chronic diseases is rooted from chronic inflammation, then where does the chronic inflammation stem from??? Eating a high Carbohydrate diet, high GI/GL foods, such as, bagels, tortillas, pancakes, fruit juices, cokes, candy bars, McDonald’s, chips, French fry’s, canned and boxed foods… on and on. Not only just eating a high carb diet, but also OVER-EATING a high carb diet. #SlapMyself

Dudes!! THAT IS NOT FOOD!!

      Here’s how it goes, generally…. Our body does not recognize junk food, i.e., diet sodas and regular sodas, waffles, McMuffins. When we continuously eat those foods, our body goes, “WTF do I do with this Barbra? Digestive malfunction. Meh—I’ll just store over here in the belly.” Then, it happens again and again, going on for years. Finally, the body says, “Cells are bleepin’ broken Barb! All I can do is store this crap you keep feeding me. Ooops, digestive system—sucking. Another cell bites the dust. Shoot, more toxins flooding into bloodstream. Ugh, not Splenda again Barb. Shit, there goes a kidney… Darn it Barb!”

Continuous Bad Carb Eating = Spikes blood sugar = spikes insulin = insulin resistance = chronic inflammation = weight gain = chronic disease city baby…

       And another problem… the medications we are prescribed—way wrong answer! Medications are NOT FIXING THE PROBLEM. It is merely a band-aid and actually making matters worse in the long run by prolonging the problem and/or by killing all the good cells in the body from all the unrecognizable chemicals in the medications. All medications can really do, is buy you some time until the problem is cured! Sweet—how do we cure the problem?

Easy, two things, EAT THE RIGHT FOODS and EXERCISE.

       Those are the two variables that can turn around bad health. Simple solution, yet it is so difficult to execute. But that is the only way to tip the scale from sick to well. Number one, where to start, is the GUT. If you heal your gut, your body will quickly and magically go into Mission: Save Your Life mode. And since majority of our immune system chills down in the Gut system, then we know to focus on our way of eating.  When your Gut is unhealthy, that means toxins are escaping into the bloodstream causing total chaos.  Why does the Gut get unhealthy?  ANSWER: EATING JUNK SHIT FOOD. Because the body doesn’t recognize it! #StrangerDanger 

So, focus on eating organic alkalized vegetables, meats, some fruit, nuts and seeds, little starch and NO sugar.

      Failing to do so, the body will remain inflamed. Here are some short- and long-term effects of chronic inflammation:

+ Short Term Effects of Chronic Inflammation:

  • Headaches
  • Fatigue
  • Stiff neck/joints
  • Neck/back pain
  • Increased heart rate
  • Anxiety
  • Digestive issues
  • Depression

+ Long Term Effects of Chronic Inflammation:

  • High Blood Pressure
  • Obesity
  • High Cholesterol
  • Type II Diabetes
  • Strokes
  • Heart attacks
  • Heart disease
  • Alzheimer’s
  • Thyroid disease
  • Arthritis
  • CANCER! CANCER! CANCER!
  • Allergies
  • Eczema
  • Osteoporosis
  • Autoimmune Disease
  • And more…

      And lastly, I’m really wanting to drive home the solution in as many ways as possible, here I leave you with another diagram.
