Why You Should Exercise First Thing In The Morning

Oftentimes we get the question, “Is it better to workout in the morning”. Just to be clear, you should choose whatever time of day is going to set you up for the most success. I did just wanna explain some great benefits of training first thing in the morning.

4 Main Benefits Of Exercise In The Morning:

Make Time For Movement;

A lot of the time we have a hard time fitting exercise or any movement into our busy schedules. Between work, family, and other life duties, movement often gets put on the back burner. After a full day of getting the kids ready, working all day and then running some errands, very few people will feel like going to get a workout in.

Though it may be a struggle at first, getting up before everyone else and knocking out some fitness as soon as you wake up is the best way to make sure you get your daily dose of sweat in. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!

Energy Levels Improve:

Once you establish a healthy routine of exercising first thing in the morning, you will start to notice you have more energy throughout the day. This allows you to be more productive at work, be present with family, and get more necessary task done on your list. Often come mid afternoon, we hit that wall where need another cup of coffee just to get us through work. It’s amazing when you can just keep on trucking without feeling lethargic throughout the day.

Burn more fat:

Studies have shown when you exercise first thing in the morning you will actually burn more fat. You are already in a fasted state from sleeping all night. This allows you to get into your fat stores much faster.

Be more productive at work:

I mentioned it earlier but when you start exercising first thing in the morning, you get the “feel good juices” flowing. With the release of all these wonderful chemicals that boost mood and actually improve cognitive function you’ll be on the fast track to being a much more productive employee or entrepreneur. With such a clear mind you are able to handle more tasks or implement those big ideas you have running around in your mind.
